2007年11月,第八届中国艺术节将在湖北省举行,这是中央制定“中部崛起”政策后,湖北省举办的首个国家级大型文艺活动,其重大意义对湖北省而言不言而喻。正是借着“八艺节”这个强大引擎的推力、广泛的辐射范围以及产业链的延伸,湖北省得到了一个百年难遇的展示自我、谋求发展的机遇,率先在中部五省迈出了具有示范效应的一大步。笔者通过对“八艺节”举办前后,湖北形象比较分析,阐明中国艺术节给湖北带来的不仅仅是眼前短期的直接经济效益,更是长期深远的间接社会效益和影响力。
In November 2007, the Eighth China Arts Festival will be held in Hubei Province. This is the first national-level large-scale literary and art activity held in Hubei Province after the Central Government formulated the “Rise of Central China” policy. Its significance for Hubei Province it goes without saying. Through comparative analysis of the images of Hubei before and after the “B-Festival” held by the author, the author expounds that the Chinese Arts Festival not only brings immediate and immediate immediate economic benefits to Hubei Province, but also indirectly affects social benefits and influence in the long run.
