今年5月,青岛市委、市政府召开的青岛首届慈善大会,向社会发出了政府支持慈善事业的强烈信号,掀开了青岛慈善史上的崭新一页。社会各界更多的富有爱心的志士仁人满腔热忱,积极投身于慈善事业,使风光秀丽的岛城卷起了慈善的新热潮。面对令人振奋的可喜局面,笔者结合慈善工作中时常遇到的现实问题,联系人们经常议论的一些有关慈善事业的话题,想起了一句关于做好善事的古训:“善人做善事,善事要做善。”善事要做善,首先要保持纯正的动机,树立以人为本的理念和与人为善的思想。纵观中华民族五千年文明史,无论哪个历史时期,都概无例外地重视做事的动机。譬如,
