The first session of teaching and research experience exchange meeting of Huadong Branch of National University Technology Research Symposium was held in Shanghai Jiaotong University from October 7 to October 1987. Chairman of CAO Donghua Branch of GT Research Association delivered an opening speech. Relevant leaders of Shanghai Mechanical Processing Society and Shanghai Jiaotong University Department of Mechanical Engineering attended the meeting and gave speeches. Chairman Cai Jianguo attended the meeting and made a speech. Twenty-six representatives from 17 higher education institutions in six provinces and one city of East China attended the meeting.
