1988年以来,外资大量涌入印尼,形成一股投资热。据印尼投资协调委员会统计,1988年核准的外国投资44.1亿美元,1989年达47.2亿美元。两年吸收的外资几乎相当于1980—1987年的总和,其中,来自日本及亚洲新兴工业化国家(地区)的投资占42.1%,来自欧洲和北美的投资分别占8.5%和7.3%。1990年印尼的外资热持续升温,外来投资高达87亿美元,比1989年增长了85%,主要集中在化工、纺织成衣和酒店等行业。
Since 1988, a large influx of foreign capital into Indonesia has created an investment fever. According to the Indonesian Investment Coordination Commission statistics, foreign investment approved in 1988 was 4.41 billion U.S. dollars, reaching 4.72 billion U.S. dollars in 1989. Foreign investment absorbed in two years was almost equivalent to the sum of 1980-1987, with 42.1% of the total investment coming from newly industrialized countries and regions in Japan and Asia and 8.5% and 7.3% respectively from Europe and North America. In 1990 Indonesia’s foreign capital fever continued to heat up with foreign investment reaching as high as 8.7 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 85% over 1989, mainly in the chemical, textile and garment, and hotel industries.
