八月六日,在林白水就义六十周年之际,林白水烈士纪念馆在他的家乡——福建闽侯县青口乡青圃村正式落成。林白水爱女、七十二岁的林慰君女士专程从美国回来参加纪念馆落成仪式。林白水是我国著名的报刊活动家、民主革命者,他早年就怀抱忧国爱民之心,投身孙中山领导的民主革命活动,并致力于办学、办报活动,他曾同蔡元培等在上海成立“中国教育会”,创设爱国女校、爱国学社等,在福州创办过官立、府立七所小学;主办过《中国白话报》《俄事警闻》等报刊。他矢志为民立
On August 6, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Lin Baishui’s gratification, the Lin Baishui Martyrs Memorial was officially completed in his hometown, Qingpu Village, Qingkou Township, Minhou County, Fujian Province. Lin Baishui’s daughter, 72-year-old Ms. Lin Weijun made a special trip back from the United States to attend the inauguration ceremony. Lin Baishui, a well-known newspaper activist and democratic revolutionary in China, started his democratic activism led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen in his early years and devoted himself to running schools and running newspapers.
