“现代家具”应是最新设计的家具。这些家具,应同当前工业技术、科学文化密切相关,并具有浓郁的时代气息。但本文仍涉及一些早期家具,因为它们的风韵至今犹存,有的在现时流行的家具中仍保留着它们的特征。由材料所表现的质感材料是构成家具形体的物质基础,它必须服从功能和审美的要求。在工业化社会里,各种材料丰富起来,用不同材料的质感来创造舒适、美观的家具,是现代家具设计的重要手段。
“Modern furniture” should be the latest design of furniture. These furniture, should be closely related with the current industrial technology, science and culture, and has a rich flavor of the times. However, this article still refers to some of the early pieces of furniture, as their charm still exists today, and some of them still retain their characteristics in current popular furniture.
