对于室内设计的研究,我是从1979年开始的。那时我作为福建省设计院的建筑师公派香港,在英国K.T.PHLCOX设计事务所工作半年。其间对香港的室内设计事务所的工作作了考察。回国之后,编写了《香港建筑室内设计》和《当代室内设计300例》两本书。 1988～1990年作为访问学者,自费公派赴日本、美国34个城市考察,收集了国外大量的建筑艺术资料,拍了3500张幻灯片和10多盒录像带,并编辑出版了《美国当代环境艺术》、《美国当代建筑造型》、《美国当代室内设计》等彩色精装丛书。这些丛书已在大陆、台湾、香港等地出版发行。 回国之后,我在北京、天津、上海、福州等地作了30多场学术报告会。建设部建筑研究中心已将讲座录制成两盒名为《美国建筑艺术、风土人情》的录像带在全国发行。最近在福州西湖积翠园艺术馆举办《国外当代室内装饰、风土人情》摄影展览,在当地引起了很大反响。这是一次规模较大的群众性科普活动,以使全民关心建筑业、装饰业。
For interior design research, I started in 1979. At that time, I was appointed as an architect of the Design Institute of Fujian Province and Hong Kong, and worked for K.T.PHLCOX Design Office in the UK for six months. During that time, he examined the work of Hong Kong’s interior design firm. After returning home, he wrote two books, “Hong Kong Architectural Interior Design” and “300 Contemporary Interior Designs.” From 1988 to 1990, he was a visiting scholar at his own expense. He went to Japan and 34 cities in the United States at his own expense. He collected a large amount of foreign architectural art materials, filmed 3,500 slides and more than 10 video cassettes, and edited and published The American Contemporary Environmental Art. , “American contemporary architectural modeling”, “American contemporary interior design” and other color hardcover books. These series have been published in the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places. After returning home, I made more than 30 academic reports in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Fuzhou. The Construction Research Center of the Ministry of Construction has recorded the lecture as a two-cassette video tape entitled “American Architecture Art, Local Conditions and Humanity” distributed nationwide. Recently, the exhibition “Foreign Contemporary Interior Decoration, Local Conditions and Customs” held at the West Lake Jade Park Art Center in Fuzhou has caused great repercussions in the local area. This is a large-scale mass popularization event so that all people care about the construction and decoration industries.
