[答]:可调节的手铰刀是可以铰钢套、铁套的。过去有的单位曾规定可调节的手铰刀不能用于铰钢套、铁套,主要原因是可调节手铰刀的价格比一般手铰刀贵,怕影响可调节手铰刀的耐用度。应该承认,无论是可调节手铰刀还是其它手铰刀,铰钢套、铁套与铰有色金属比较起来,耐用度是低一些,但不能因此而规定不能铰钢套、铁套。因为从经济性看,用手工刮削或机床回修的成本更高。目前工具厂生产的标准可调节手铰刀,直径小于或等于12.75毫米的铰
