Shahe Reservoir is located in the southern mountainous area of Liyang City, Jiangsu Province, with a catchment area of 148.5km ~ 2 and a storage capacity of 109 million m ~ 3. It is a large-scale reservoir that combines tourism, fish farming, urban water supply and agricultural irrigation. Reservoir Management Office employees more than 2,000 people in 2000 to achieve total revenue of 100 million yuan.
