转化生长因子β（TGF－β）是一种对细胞的生长、分化和多种生理、病理过程起重要调节作用的细胞因子。本文综述了近年来国外在TGF－β跨膜信号转导途径方面所取得的研究进展。介绍了TGF－β受体的结构和作用方式，并着重介绍了Smads基因家族的发现及其在TGF－β的信号转导途径中的作用。
Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta) is a cytokine that plays an important regulatory role in cell growth, differentiation and various physiological and pathological processes. This review summarizes the progress made in recent years in the field of TGF-β transmembrane signal transduction. The structure and function of TGF-β receptor were introduced, and the discovery of Smads gene family and its role in TGF-β signal transduction pathway were emphatically introduced.
