The first session of the National Academic Committee on Engineering Ceramics Materials was held by the Professional Committee of Engineering Ceramics Materials of Materials Branch of China Construction Machinery Association and was held in Xikou District, Fenghua City, Zhejiang Province from May 21 to May 24, 1992. Eighty representatives from 61 universities and colleges, 13 scientific research institutes, 19 enterprises and 51 national publications from 51 national units attended the current annual meeting.
