社会主义核心价值体系是我国社会价值体系中最基础、最重要的组成部分,是中国特色社会主义得以存在和发展的根本属性、内在精神和生命之魂,在当代中国社会价值观、价值结构、价值目标中处于统治和支配的地位。党的十七大明确提出,社会主义核心价值体系是社会主义意识形态的本质体现。建设社会主义核心价值体系,在全社会形成共同的理想信念和道德规范,打牢全党全国各族人民团结奋斗的思想道德基础,必须深刻认识和揭示建设社会主义核心价值体系的现实作用与意义。
