吴楚楚毕业于台湾中兴大学法商学院地政系,长于吉他演奏与演唱。七十年代初,与胡德夫、杨祖珺、韩正皓一起尝试创作,并于1977年举办个人演唱会。后参与初创并任职于台湾滚石唱片公司。1983年再度与彭国华、陈大力创立台湾飞碟唱片公司,使其成为八十年代台湾唯一一个可以同滚石公司比肩的音乐创作、制作、营销一体化的唱片企业。他本人先后为蔡琴等诸多歌手的演唱专辑担任制作人,成为主导台湾流行音乐的创作型音乐人,并任台湾中华音乐人交流协会会长。2005年荣获台湾第十六届金曲奖的“特别贡献奖”。
Wu Chu graduated from the Department of Political Science and Law at Chung Hsing University’s Law School of Business in Taiwan and is longer than his guitarist. In the early seventies, with Hu Defu, Yang Zu Jun, Han Zhenghao try together to create, and in 1977 organized a personal concert. After participating in the start-up and worked in Taiwan Rolling Stones record company. Once again in 1983 with Peng Guohua, Chen Dali Taiwan’s Flying Saucer record company, making it the only one in the 1980s can be with Rolling Stone music company, production, marketing integration of record companies. He himself has successively worked as a producer for many singers such as Tsai Chin and became the creative musician who led Taiwanese pop music and became the president of the Taiwan Chinese Music Exchange Association. In 2005 won the Taiwan 16th Golden Melody Award “Special Contribution Award ”.
