1995年11月9日,以陆元盛为领队的中国乒乓球队一行14人,开始了每年一度的访欧之旅。其间,参加了匈牙利、奥地利、法国、瑞典、芬兰5项国际公开赛,历时一个多月。这次访欧最大的特点是男、女队都派出了清一色的年轻选手,主要目的是锤炼队伍。特别是女队,由新任主教练陆元盛带领,队员有杨影、李菊、王楠,以期通过本次访欧,达到积累比赛经验,提高综合作战能力,加快接班步伐的目的。另外,老将马文革、乔云萍因正在德国俱乐部打球,也顺便参加了其中的几站比赛。
On November 9, 1995, a 14-man Chinese table tennis team led by Lu Yuan-sheng started his annual trip to Europe. During this period, he participated in five international open matches in Hungary, Austria, France, Sweden and Finland, which took more than a month. The greatest feature of this visit to Europe is that both men and women teams send all-out young players, with the main aim of tempering the team.
