国际乒联器材委员会每年都颁布关于在各级世界性比赛中可以使用的球拍覆盖物公报,该公报列举了覆盖物的牌号、型号,表明了该型号是胶粒向外(正胶)或胶粒向里(反胶),还规定了该胶皮是否可不覆盖在海绵之上及与胶皮相配的海绵颜色。 但是这份公报未引起绝大多数运动员、教练员和裁判员的重视。几年来,我国运动员曾在国际比赛中使用不应覆盖在海绵上的正胶;不应将某些红反胶覆盖在兰海绵上等等违反规定的球拍而影响比赛甚至被取消比赛资格。由于历史原因,造成以往中国运动员不使用海绵套胶。在外国器材进入中国市场后,目前胶皮海绵乱搭配而违反规定的情况很多。 现将国际乒联96年7月至97年6月球拍复盖物公报刊印如下。请各类比赛的裁判根据引公报的规定,对执行国际乒联规程的各级比赛中,运动员使用的球拍作认真的检查和纠正。 中国乒协将在97年全国比赛中,按国际乒联的规定作严格检查。请各有关乒乓球器材生产厂家,加强对运动员需求的了解,在向国际乒联报批时,尽量使我国的产品能在更大的范围内使用。
