Dr Eloh Hodge, of the School of Communication at Queensland Polytechnic University in Australia, said: “By the 21st century, Australian journalism will be dominated by women.” This is indeed an encouraging point. Dr Eloh Hodge’s prediction is not without foundation. Please take a look at the facts: The Institute of Media and Communication in the University of Wollongong specializes in learning and research after graduating from college with 5 to 10 years of practical experience in journalistic work. With 60 existing master’s degree candidates, Graduate students, girls accounted for 60%. There are 200 college students studying for a bachelor’s degree and 20 graduate students studying for a master’s degree at the Australian Independent Journalism Center at the University of Technology in Sydney, and half of them girls. Canberra University, is the first university in Australia to establish a news professional university, the existing 100 students, of which 70% of female students. And because of academic excellence and winners, are female students.
