六十年代初,我校从民主德国进口的VEM型晶体结构分析仪——X光机,曾在我们的教学和科研工作中发挥过重要作用,但该机的主要部件X光管,由于它存在许多固有缺点,加之市场上无货供应,致使我校的这台价值一万七千多元的设备亦因无法使用而被闲置起来。近年来,国内外进行X射线衍射分析广泛使用的是一种新型X光管,它和旧X光管相比,具有体积小,功率高,构造先进,性能稳定,寿命长,存放简便,通用性强等优点。国内外均有生产,为此,我们对原机作了一些改造,用新X光管代替旧的X光管,使搁置的仪器重新得到了利用。但新旧两种X光管的形状和大小差异悬殊,如何既能用新X光管来代替老的X光管,又要保留原机结构合理部分,这是改装的关键。我们仅对该设备X光管的安装结构进行了必要改造,使之满足了这一要求。图1和图2分别为改装前后的结构简图。

For this purpose, we made some modifications to the original machine, replacing the old X-ray tube with a new X-ray tube and re-using the rest instrument. However, the difference between the shape and the size of the two old and new X-ray tubes can not only replace the old X-ray tube with a new X-ray tube, but also retain a reasonable part of the original machine structure, which is the key to the modification. We have only made necessary modifications to the installation structure of the X-ray tube of the device to meet this requirement.
