满洲里位于内蒙古自治区东北部,坐落在美丽富饶的呼伦贝尔大草原腹地,西邻蒙古国,北接俄罗斯,是一座“鸡鸣闻三国、一眼望俄蒙”的边境口岸城市。全市总面积732平方公里,人口30万,下辖国家级中俄互市贸易区、边境经济合作区、国家大型煤炭能源基地扎赉诺尔区、东湖创汇农业区和综合产业园区,是内蒙古自治区计划单列的边境口岸城市,具有省级经济管理权限,发展潜力巨大。
