历史文化名城保护工作对于繁荣社会主义先进文化,全面展示北京的传统文化内涵具有重要的现实意义。北京市在“十二五”时期历史文化名城保护建设规划中明确指出,旧城是古都风貌和传统文化的精髓,是北京历史文化名城保护的核心。天桥历史文化景观试点项目作为北京中轴线上桥的序列中的重要组成部分,是体现中轴线完整性的一个关键节点,也是展现南城民俗文化的重要载体。
The protection of historical and cultural cities is of great practical significance for prospering the advanced socialist culture and comprehensively displaying Beijing’s traditional cultural connotation. During the “12th Five-Year Plan” period, Beijing Municipality clearly pointed out that the old city is the quintessence of ancient capital style and traditional culture and is the core of Beijing’s historical and cultural city protection. As an important part of the sequence of bridges on the central axis of Beijing, the pilot project of Tianqiao historic and cultural landscape is a key node to embody the integrity of the central axis and is also an important carrier to show the folk culture of Nancheng.
