车过公路桥,将下乌力吉气河留在身后,我们来到满归林业局的河西林场。迎接我们的是一条砂石铺就的南北大路。路面宽阔、平坦、洁净,是经常清扫的样子。两排行道树簇拥着路口一块标语牌,上书大字“开创林业新局面”,耀人眼目。我曾有过几年的林场生活经历,留在我记忆中的是简陋的板夹泥房、不规整的街道和未经绿化的场区。而现在,当河西林场的负责人陪伴我们在场区参观时,映入眼帘的却是另一番景象。以这条砂石路为中轴,整齐地排列开数十栋红砖房。林场副主任于万民随手指点着:办公楼、电影
