华尔街的男女之事,世人还真难给个公道的说法。2010年9月刚过,美国高盛公司的3位女雇员就站了出来,告高盛歧视女性雇员。是否能够做到男女平等,是检验一个民族文明程度的试金石,也是检验许多行业文明程度的试金石。比如北欧那些富足、和谐的国家,男女平等做得都比较好,在就业方面没有什么歧视。反过来说,那些男尊女卑的地方,贫富差别大多比较严重,而且“大老爷们儿”经常是乌烟瘴气,成事不足,败事有余。既然男女平等是一件大事情,高盛的领导对3名女雇员的维权事件自然会十分重视。

Just after September 2010, three female Goldman Sachs employees stepped forward to sue Goldman for discriminating against female employees. Whether we can achieve equality between men and women is the touchstone for testing the degree of civilization of a nation and the touchstone for testing the degree of civilization in many industries. For example, in rich and harmonious countries in northern Europe, men and women do better on an equal footing and there is no discrimination in employment. On the other hand, those who are inferior to men and are inferior to men are mostly seriously disproportionate. Moreover, “gentlemen and children” are often displeased with inadequate and unsuccessful actions. Since equality between men and women is a big deal, Goldman Sachs leaders will naturally attach great importance to the rights of the three female employees.
