The neoplastic proliferation of neuroendocrine cells can originate from the entire digestive tract and its related organs. Extrahepatic bile duct cancer is rare, and neuroendocrine cancer is even rarer. The latter is now available with monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) and/or polyclonal antisera.
