2013年10月28日于天津今天,我们纪念毛泽东同志诞辰120周年,也是纪念铭记从鸦片战争170多年来的中国人民艰苦卓绝的奋斗史,也是纪念铭记马克思主义170多年来无产阶级革命和社会主义的发展史,也是纪念铭记中国共产党90多年来的伟大成就和历史经验。我们深切缅怀毛泽东同志的丰功伟绩,认真学习和坚持毛泽东思想,大力弘扬中国共产党的革命精神和优良传统,对推进中国特色社会主义事业,有着重大现实和历史意义。中国共产党成立90多年的历史,就是共产党领导广大人民群众为实现民族独立、人民解放、国家富强、人民幸福不懈奋斗的历史。在这个奋斗历程中,形成了以毛泽东同志为核心的党的第一代领导集体,这是历史的必然,全党的共识,人民的愿望。毛泽东同志是伟大的马克思主义者,伟大的无产阶级革命家、战略家和理论家,是中国人民的伟大领袖,永存人民的心中。
October 28, 2013 in Tianjin Today, in commemoration of the 120th anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong’s birth, we commemorate the hard-fought struggle history of the Chinese people over the past 170 years since the Opium War. They are also a reminder of Marxism’s proletarian revolution and socialism over the past 170 years The history of development is also a reminder of the great achievements and historical experience of the Chinese Communist Party over the past 90 years. We cherish deep memory of the great achievements of Comrade Mao Zedong, conscientiously study and uphold Mao Tse-tung’s thought, vigorously promote the revolutionary spirit and fine tradition of the Chinese Communist Party, and have great realistic and historical significance for promoting the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The history of more than 90 years since the founding of the Chinese Communist Party is the history of the CPC leading the broad masses of the people in making unremitting efforts to achieve national independence, liberation of the people, prosperity of the country, and happiness of the people. In the course of this struggle, the first-generation leading collective of the Party with Comrade Mao Zedong as the core has been formed. This is an inevitability of history, a consensus of the whole party and a desire of the people. Comrade Mao Tse-tung is a great Marxist, a great proletarian revolutionary, strategist and theorist who is the great leader of the Chinese people and who will always cherish the hearts of the people.
