母语对外语的学习既有正迁移作用也有负迁移作用。换句话说,母语既可以积极地推动外语的学习,但是母语也可以阻碍外语的学习。所以在小学英语的教学过程中,老师应当帮助学生实现正迁移并且避免负迁移。对于小学外语教师来说,在教学过程中应当掌握母语在外语学习的作用,通过比较母语和外语的不同语言特点,来帮助学生在外语学习中发挥母语的正迁移作用,避免负迁移作用,以提高学习英语的效果。母语的正迁移作用
