自从开展稀土在钢中应用的试验研究以来,稀土钢浇铸时,经常发生水口结瘤、汤道堵塞、注管呕钢、造成双浇、短锭、甚至整炉钢报废。1965年稀土钢水口结瘤课题被列入国家重点科研项目。由上海第三钢铁厂、包头冶金研究所、上海材料研究所、北京钢铁学院、贵阳地球化学所、上海计量局共同组成研究组,进行了大量的试验研究工作,取得了初步的研究成果,在试验工作中,得到了北京钢铁学院柯俊教授和韩其勇付教授的具体指导和帮助。1975年以后,沈阳金属研究所,上海耐火材料厂也参加了课题组的攻关工作。在此期间进行了冶炼工艺制度稀土合金种
