为了减轻高频喷射通气治疗呼吸衰竭时，气管切开、气管插管、环甲膜穿刺给患者带来的痛苦，根据高频喷射呼吸道通气原理，我们改用了鼻导管法和鼻塞法进行高频喷射通气治疗，克服了“有创伤通气法”的不足之处，临床治疗77例次患者，获得成功。
