After learning the article “Professor Pushkin’s Views on History Teaching in Secondary School” in “People’s Education” in August 1953, I clarified some characteristics of history teaching and made some improvements in my teaching work. First, there have been improvements in the use of maps for teaching. My first thought in history teaching should continue to be based on the map. In the past, I always thought it was enough that teaching history should make students understand the facts of history and get the proper understanding through the facts. It does not matter where these historical facts are happening. This time Professor Pushkin pointed out: “Historical events occur in a certain place. Therefore, the use of maps for teaching constitutes a feature of the history class.” This reminds me of the reasons why students used to have history when they were studying history Inconvenience “and” Aerial Pavilions ", so as to understand the shortcomings of teaching in the past when they mastered this feature. This semester, I have been able to use the map to teach in history lessons that require maps. Second, I realized that in using the map, students should be able to have a comprehensive understanding of the prevailing geographical situation related to the text through the maps used. If I am talking about junior high school
