On January 11, the Russian Federation’s president and defense minister respectively issued an order for the appointment of former Siberian military commander General Alexander Bosnikov as commander-in-chief of the Russian Army and just a year and a half of former Army Commander-in-Chief Vladimir. General Bordrev was dismissed for age. The dismissal of the old commander and the inauguration of the new commander aroused curiosity and opened the tip of the iceberg of Russian military reform.
