初中英语活动课的开设是对以讲授为主的传统英语课教学形式的颠覆,其根本在于赋予了英语课“活”的形式,让学生通过参与课堂不断提高自身的口语交际能力和英语表达能力,并能将所学基础知识更好的运用于生活实际中,做到学以致用和学为己用。“微课”作为一种新型的教学模式,关注学生的每一个微变化,从小处着手,带动学生学习的积极性,有益于创建一个真正属于学生自己的课堂。其相对传统课堂而言,微课课堂主题突出、问题聚集、过程简易,所以有益于激活英语活动课的开展,为活动课教学质量的提升起到了一定的促进作用。
