According to the work plan of the biomedical information center and the network part of the government project of the People’s Republic of China funded by the United Nations Development Program, a training course on modern management of medical libraries is planned to be held in each district of our country. Approved by the Ministry of Health, East China Medical Library Management Training Course co-organized by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Institute of Medical Intelligence and Nanjing Medical College was held at Nanjing Medical College from October 30 to November 14, 1981.
