塔河近期综合治理项目是西部大开发战略的标志性工程,是功在当代、利在千秋、造福南疆各族人民的民心工程。通过灌区工程改造,节约用水,河道治理,水资源统一管理和调度等措施,增加了各源流汇入塔里木河的水量,保证了大西海子生态水量指标,水流到达台特玛湖,使塔里木河干流上中游林草植被得到有效保护和恢复,下游生态环境得到初步改善。
The recent comprehensive management project of Tahe River is a landmark project of the strategy for the development of the western region and a popular project benefiting the people of all ethnic groups in southern Xinjiang in the contemporary era, benefiting the country for generations to come. Through such measures as project reconstruction, water conservation, river regulation, unified management and dispatch of water resources, the water inflow into the Tarim River has been increased and the ecological water quantity of the Daxi Haizi River has been ensured.
