自笈笈滩林场于1953年成立,迄今已20年了。在毛主席革命路线指引下,经过全场职工的努力,在沙漠中造林近两万亩,建成二百亩水利化,林网化、园田化的苗圃,取得了治沙造林的初步效果。1959—1964年,中国科学院治沙队在这里建立了综合治沙站,作了很多工作。1965年宁夏自治区农科所继续在这里设点,与林场职工一起,结合生产开展了造林、育苗、病虫害防治等试验工作。现根据历年生产经验及科学试验结果,总结如下,供参考。
Since the beach was established in 1953, it has been 20 years. Under the guidance of Chairman Mao’s revolutionary line, through the efforts of the entire staff, nearly 20,000 mu of afforestation was made in the desert and 200 mu of water conservancy, forestation and parkland nurseries were built and the initial effect of sand control and afforestation was achieved.
