从上海铁路局获悉,日前,沪通铁路张家港段已经开始铺轨,这标志着沪通铁路全线建设进入了一个新阶段。据悉,沪通铁路连接上海与江苏省南通市,设计时速200km,横跨长江,北接宁启铁路,南接沪宁铁路,全线设平东、南通西、张家港、常熟、太仓、安亭等车站。记者了解到,沪通铁路工程已于2014年3月开工建设,一期工程全线铺轨任务预计将在2019年底完成,目前张家港段开始铺轨。另外,沪通铁路建成后,还将开行动车组列车,届时从南通到上海只需1 h,不仅是南通,整个苏北沿海城市的市民都可以坐动车方便快捷到达上海。
