Objective To study the effects of rapid dehydration on isometric muscle strength and endurance of knee extensors and elbow flexors and the effect of dehydration on blood changes. Methods Seven healthy volunteers participated voluntarily in this study. The mean age was 22.6 ± 1.4 years, height 180.0 ± 9.1cm, body weight 82.1 ± 9.7kg and body fat percentage 15.7 ± 6.0.
