机械检修中经常遇到零件在安装轴承部位,由于一些原因造成轴承内或外环绕零件旋转而使零件磨损,这种磨损对零件强度虽然影响不大,但从其它情况考虑继续使用将是不允许的。有些件可采用电焊、氧焊、锻铬、下套等方法进行修复,但也有相当多的件如承受重复应力的轴类,大件,渗炭淬火件,构造特殊件则不能采用上述方法进行修复,早期报废不能做到物尽其用。如目前铁路上大量运用的轨道车、轻型内燃机车、拖车,大都采用了滚动轴承轴箱的压轮
