大麦是酿造啤酒的重要原料。1979年以来,我国啤酒生产以每年增长30%的速度发展,大麦原料需求量骤增;同时大麦原料质量不好,影响制酒经济效益的提高,迫切需要选育啤酒大麦新品种,以促进大麦生产,为啤酒工业生产提供优质原料。为贯彻“科学技术必须面向经济建设”的方针,我们于1980年开始进行啤酒大麦新品种的选育工作。经过几年的工作,已初步育成几个较好的新品种,现将研究工作情况初报如下。
