SQ14225(甲硫丙脯酸)是血管紧张素转化酶的特异性抑制剂,它能阻滞血管紧张素Ⅰ转变成血管紧张素Ⅱ,而使血压下降。国外初步临床试验证实,SQ14225对肾血管性和原发性高血压均有效,未见严重不良反应,心电图、心率、血球计数、尿、生化指标等均无异常,无发热反应。动物试验表明,在高于有效剂量1000倍的情况下,也未见毒性反应。尤其值得注意的足口服有效。SQ14225有希望成为治疗高血压及其它肾素—血管紧张素系统功能亢进性疾病的
