(一)台湾著名油画家冉茂芹,是我于20世纪50和60年代、在广州美术学院附中和大学时代的老校友。在我准备动笔为他写文章的时候,很自然就在记忆中浮现出了今年五月著名雕塑大师潘鹤先生说的令我难忘且发人深思的一番话。潘老师说:“水中之鱼,有浮在水面上的鱼与沉在水底之鱼的不同。例如,浮在水面的白鲢子鱼,每遇水面有什么风吹草动,就会拼命跳出水面。而那些沉在水底下的鱼,任凭风浪起,也不露声色,沉着地在水底下静养。”潘老师进而又说:“当代中国美术界,也存在与水中之鱼相似的情形。在美术界有种像白鲢子鱼一样的‘艺术家’。与其说他们
