当今,在各方面有识之士十分重视开发利用本区域文化资源,以此推动民族精神张扬,促进社会主义物质文明与精神文明建设的大背景下,如何重新认识和评价贵州历史文化,改变贵州人文资源“养在深闺人未识”的状况,凸现贵州文化的光彩,已成为扩大开放、振兴贵州不容忽视的战略任务。长久以来,外界对贵州的文化描述和定位是不公正的。贵州曾被视为蛮荒的文化沙漠,这种不公正的历史涵定如不改变,贵州的整体形象终难正确树立,我们自身对贵州省情的认识也将残缺不全,甚至是自惭形秽,贵州各族人民的自强精神将难进一步发扬。贵州被扭曲的文化名声,贵州人在文化上的群体的压抑感,不应该带进新世纪!
