中日城市交通讲习交流会于1988年11月中旬在北京召开,参加会议的有中日专家学者100余人。应国家建设部林汉雄部长的邀请,日本三菱重工业株式会社派团参加了会议,并介绍了三菱重工业关于城市交通的新成果及有关中等运量的轨道交通的法规,车辆等技术。北京、上海等有关部门介绍了城市交通现状和规划情况。会议期间,代表们就目前我国城市交通问题行进了广泛讨论,一致认为,解决城市交通矛盾的必要途径和根本的措施之一,就是发展城市快速轨道交通系统。
The China-Japan Urban Transport Seminar was held in Beijing in mid-November 1988 with more than 100 experts and scholars from China and Japan participating in the conference. At the invitation of Minister of Construction, Ministry of Construction Lin Hanxiong, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. of Japan sent a delegation to attend the meeting and introduced Mitsubishi Heavy Industries new achievements on urban transport and rail transit regulations, vehicles and other technologies. Beijing, Shanghai and other relevant departments introduced the status of urban traffic and planning. During the meeting, the delegates made extensive discussions on the urban traffic problems in our country and agreed that one of the necessary ways and fundamental measures to solve the urban traffic conflicts is to develop the urban rapid rail transit system.
