网箱养鱼与天然水体和池塘养鱼相比,主要与采取强化措施,成百倍或成千倍地增加鱼产量有关。依靠水体小面积网箱养鱼,可以使整个水体的鱼产量翻几番。1953年П.В.Михééв和Е.В.Méйснсéр开始对放在用卡普隆网片做成的浮动式网箱里各种不同鱼类的饲养进行系统的研究。从1953~1973年期间,在试验基地详细研究和制订网箱养鲤、梭鲈、鲑、白鲑和其他鱼类的生物学技术(П.Михééв等,1970)。
