党的苏区卫生工作在缺医少药、食品短缺、生活极端艰苦的情况下,面向广大红军官兵和苏区人民群众。针对苏区人民整体医学知识及卫生常识缺乏的情况,将卫生防疫作为卫生工作的重点。实事求是、艰苦奋斗、为人民服务的苏区精神是苏区卫生工作者和苏区人民坚持开展卫生工作的动力来源。
