中国比较文学与翻译研究高峰论坛于2013年10月15日在清华大学举行。论坛由清华大学外文系和比较文学与文化研究中心主办,清华大学外文系长江学者特聘教授、比较文学与文化研究中心主任王宁等主持了论坛。清华大学副校长谢维和代表主办方对论坛的举行表示衷心的祝贺,并希望清华大学的人文学者为中国文化和文学走向世界作出独特的贡献。在开幕式上致辞的还有中国比较文学学会副会长、四川大学长江学者特聘教授曹顺庆,国际比较文学学会理事、国际权威刊物《比较文学与世界文学评论》(Neohelicon)主编彼得·海居(Peter Hajdu),清华大学外文系主任刘世生,上海外国语大学高级翻译学院教授谢天振。简短的开幕式之后,王宁教授和美国著名文学翻译家、莫言作品的主要译者葛浩文(Howard
China Comparative Literature and Translation Research Summit was held on October 15, 2013 at Tsinghua University. The forum was hosted by the Department of Foreign Languages and Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies of Tsinghua University, and was chaired by Wang Ning, director of the Center for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies, a Cheung Kong Scholar Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages of Tsinghua University. Xie Weihe, Vice-Chancellor of Tsinghua University, on behalf of the organizers, expressed his heartfelt congratulation on the forum and hoped that the humanities scholars at Tsinghua University would make unique contributions to bringing Chinese culture and literature to the world. Also present at the opening ceremony were Vice President of the Chinese Society of Comparative Literature, Professor Cao Shunqing, a Distinguished Professor of Cheung Kong Scholar at Sichuan University, Director of the International Society of Comparative Literature, and Peter Haitian, editor in chief of Neohelicon, an authoritative international publication Peter Hajdu, Director of Foreign Languages Department of Tsinghua University Liu Shisheng, Professor Xie Tianzhen, Professor, School of Advanced Translation, Shanghai International Studies University.
