陇西一中是一所诞生于抗日战争烽火岁月的老校,经受了长期的民族民主革命、社会主义革命和社会主义建设的洗礼。党的十一届三中全会的召开,使这所年逾六旬的老校再度焕发了青春。学校现有教职工214人,学生3200人,分为49个教学班。自1978年高校招生制度恢复以来,高考录取人数长期稳居全县龙头老大地位;从1996年起,高考升学率、录取率连续七年名列定西地区第一。2001年,高考上线率、绝对上线人数又名列全区榜首。20年间共向高校输送人才3377入。当我们回顾这所传统老校奋斗不息的辉煌历程时,我们想起了一个用自己的心血浇灌并以自己的生命亲历了陇西教育大发展时代的人——他就是陇西一中校长伍鑫泽。展现在读者面前的是一串奋斗者坚实的足迹……
