An effective fluid flow process has been created that uses hydrostatic extrusion to compact metal wire into thin wires that is integrated with the continuous wire feed process. A press prototype has been designed for pilot production equipment that uses hydrostatic extrusion to produce communication leads. The first part of the article introduces the theory of thin wire extrusion in detail and the development of continuous extrusion. The second part introduces a pilot extrusion prototype and its accompanying linear viscous traction type continuous feeding equipment. The third part introduces the development of pre-production equipment, whereby the possibility of using the prototype press as a formal production equipment can be judged and the information required for the development of formal production equipment available.
