在配置组合机床和组合机床自动线时,液压动力获得了最广泛的使用。液压动力头能够达到最大的抗力,能够保证最复杂的工作循环的自动化,并且能够在广阔的范围内无级调节工作进给。液压动力头的寿命比较起来是最长的,因为它是在良好的润滑条件和避免过载的情况下进行工作的。根据工作进给速度的调节方法,液压动力头可分成:用节流阀在入口处调节的、用节流阀在出口处调节的以及用改变容量的方法来调节的三种。苏联金属切削机床实验科学研究所
