Rohm and Haas has a significant influence in the semiconductor chip industry. Its Shipley Ronal, which was established in August 2000, holds 36% of the total sales of the global PCB market. None of the opponents can exceed 12%. Materials are DuPond’s strong growth industry with annual sales of approximately US$300 million. The company’s polyimide film production capacity accounts for 70% of the world’s annual growth rate of approximately 13%. DuPond is aiming for the development of the information industry. The electronic printing industry; Dow is focusing on polymerizing light-emitting diode display business and is expanding its business in insulating materials.
