5月20日下午,新到任不久的张榕明副省长在省文化厅厅长杜铁、副厅长李起云等同志陪同下,视察了辽宁省图书馆新馆。张省长认真察看了新馆二期工程工地,新馆南北楼各楼层的阅览室、书库,听取了省文化厅基建办生元林主任关于新馆二期工程进展情况、投资情况及有关问题的汇报;王文超馆长亦就省图书馆购书费短缺、新馆设备费未到位等情况向省长做了汇报。根据汇报,张省长对省图书馆二期工程问题做了具体指示:二期
