The famous Italian scholar Ambo Aykow has devoted himself to the study of semiotics and hermeneutics for decades. His hermeneutic thought has exerted far-reaching influence on the theory of reception in contemporary Western literary theory. As early as the 1960s, Ai Ke put forward the importance of appreciators and the exchange between appreciators and works in his academic work “Open Works”, and explained her early hermeneutic theory of “advocating hermeneutics” Laid an important foundation and provided instructive value to scholars who later advocated “reader-centered theory.” This paper tentatively explores Mr. Ai Ke ’s “open works ” theory, hoping to make some contribution to Echo research in academia.
