Although many rocks and rock-forming minerals can be distinguished by the intuitive, petrographic, and geochemical methods, more complex methods, such as X-ray diffraction, are still required to mineralize the strongly altered rock. Mineralogical alterations in hydrothermal alteration zones are often an important indicator of economic mineral concentration. However, it is not only slow but also costly to determine the minute changes in altered minerals. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to devise a prospecting method that can quickly identify different important alteration minerals.
